Welcome to Karen Meeks Music and thank you for being here.
Music has always been more than sound to me. It is a way to connect hearts, uplift spirits, and remind us of the beauty and dignity within every human being. My life’s mission is to spread love through music that heals, educates, inspires, and promotes unity within our communities and throughout the world.
This website is a home for the many musical paths that have shaped my journey as a singer, songwriter, and performer. Throughout my life I have been inspired by many genres of music, and each one offers its own powerful way of telling stories, expressing emotion, and bringing people together. Here you will find all of those musical expressions gathered in one place.

One section of the site is dedicated to The Divas, a theatrical musical production that I am developing with the help of many wonderful people within the community. The Divas Project honors the extraordinary contributions of Ma Rainey, Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Etta James. These legendary women helped shape the foundations of Blues, Jazz, R&B, Rock and Soul music. On this page you will find music inspired by their timeless artistry as I celebrate their legacy and share songs from their repertoire and beyond.
Another section features my original Rock, Country, and Pop-influenced songs that I have written and performed that reflect life’s journeys, joys, and challenges.
You will also find a space devoted to dance and house music, a direction I have recently begun to revisit, explore and release. These songs celebrate rhythm, movement, and the joy of coming together through music.
My hope is that this site becomes a place where people can visit, listen, discover, and enjoy whatever music they feel drawn to in the moment. Whether you are here for soulful blues, uplifting pop, heartfelt storytelling, or music that simply makes you want to dance, there is a place for you here.
